Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a firm grasp of accounting principles. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide training.
• Advise on financial implications of business decisions.
• Utilize accounting software to streamline processes.
• Prepare for and assist with external audits.
• Liaise with external financial stakeholders when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Budgeting and Forecasting

Certifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
