Job Description

As a Veterinary Technician at Animal Health Solutions, you'll be at the forefront of animal care. Your expertise will support veterinarians in performing examinations, administering treatments, and ensuring the well-being of pets. Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to ill and injured animals.
  • Prepare and assist in surgical procedures.
  • Conduct client consultations to gather medical history.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings to improve clinic operations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients.
  • Perform dental cleanings and assist in dental procedures.
  • Help with animal handling and restraint techniques.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the veterinarian.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Animal Health Technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in veterinary practice
