Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to assist clients in navigating life's challenges. In this position, you will assess needs, provide therapeutic support, and work collaboratively with community resources to empower individuals and families to improve their circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to set achievable goals and monitor their progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document each client's journey and track changes over time.
• Provide training for volunteers and interns in best practices of social work.
• Work towards fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for clients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in community service or social work

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
