We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about innovation and design to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a proven track record in mechanical systems design and analysis. You will play a pivotal role in developing new products and optimizing existing systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to prototype and ultimately to production.
• Analyze data from tests to inform future design decisions.
• Communicate design concepts and project updates with stakeholders.
• Assist with project management activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in team meetings to brainstorm and refine engineering solutions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions without compromising quality.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement by suggesting new methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or similar related field
• Master's degree a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience particularly in the automotive or aerospace sectors

Languages
