Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves creating and implementing training programs tailored to employee needs, ensuring that our workforce is well-equipped to achieve their potential and drive the company forward. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, evaluating training effectiveness, and aligning learning strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnerships with external training providers.
  • Assist in the introduction and integration of performance management systems.
  • Organize and facilitate team-building activities to improve collaboration.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and competitor training initiatives.
  • Create pathways for career progression through targeted learning opportunities.
  • Prepare budget proposals for training programs and track expenditures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Training and Development or related field is advantageous

  • 5+ years in a corporate training environment
