Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Learning Specialist to cultivate engaging learning experiences in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a track record of designing and implementing effective training programs tailored to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a comprehensive library of training resources for staff.
• Utilize technology and e-learning tools to enhance training delivery.
• Host workshops and seminars to promote ongoing professional development.
• Foster a culture of learning by encouraging knowledge sharing among employees.
• Assess and report on training outcomes and suggest areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in training and development or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Instructional Design
• E-Learning Tools

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in using LMS for course management and reporting.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles: Understanding of how adults learn and apply knowledge.
