Compliance Officer

Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to legal standards and in-house policies. You will assist in developing compliance strategies, reviewing internal processes, and collaborating with other departments to promote compliance awareness and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and update compliance programs as needed.
• Collect and analyze data from compliance audits.
• Assist in the development of compliance training materials.
• Facilitate communication between regulatory authorities and the organization.
• Document compliance violations and remedial actions taken.
• Work closely with senior management to promote a culture of compliance.
• Engage in continuous improvements to compliance processes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities.
• Conduct regular assessments of staff understanding of compliance policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field
• Legal degree considered an advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a compliance environment

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
