Production Packer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Packer! In this role, you'll be responsible for packing, labeling, and preparing our high-quality products for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute significantly to our operational success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products for shipment by packing and labeling accurately.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and ensure all packing tools are in good condition.
• Report any issues with products or packaging to the supervisor.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss productivity and improvements.
• Manage time effectively to meet shipping deadlines.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management as required.
• Implement quality control measures during the packing process.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure personal and team safety.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Secondary education) preferred

Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Inventory management systems or ERP
• Forklift operation

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment: Hands-on experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Ability to operate packing machinery: Familiarity with various packing machines used in production.
