Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and organized Event Coordinator to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will manage various events from inception to completion, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. You will liaise with clients, vendors, and venues to create memorable experiences that align with our brand values.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design event layouts and themes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to optimize service delivery.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for events.
  • Utilize project management tools to keep track of event progress.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review event details.
  • Prepare event budgets and adjust planning as necessary.
  • Ensure guests receive high-quality service during events.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential issues.
  • Promote events through various channels to attract attendees.
  • Lead debrief meetings after each event to discuss successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Advanced degree in Event Management is a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
