Responsibilities

• Innovate structural designs for complex projects involving unique design challenges.
• Engage with clients to clarify project requirements and discuss design solutions.
• Utilize modeling software to simulate structural behavior under various load conditions.
• Prepare project budgets, ensuring cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Supervise junior engineers and provide guidance on project tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide updates on project status.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
• Review and approve shop drawings and structural plans.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Assist in developing departmental policies and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• Finite Element Analysis

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages
