Risk Compliance Analyst

Job Description

As a Risk Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing our compliance frameworks. You will work closely with various teams to implement best practices and regulatory requirements while mitigating risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance audits and follow-up actions.
• Review and interpret regulatory changes and potential impacts.
• Assist in the development of compliance metrics and KPIs.
• Support the risk assessment process across the organization.
• Engage with staff at various levels to foster a culture of compliance.
• Ensure timely reporting and corrective actions for compliance issues.
• Maintain awareness of compliance developments related to the industry.

Requirements

Education

• Honours degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance management

Technical Skills

• Compliance Technology
• Regulatory Reporting

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• CISA or equivalent certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Background in legal compliance: Understanding of laws and regulations affecting compliance management.
• Expertise in data protection regulations: Knowledge of POPIA and GDPR applicable in South Africa.
