Risk and Compliance Advisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Risk and Compliance Advisor to join our Durban office. In this role, you will oversee compliance projects, develop policies and procedures, and ensure effective management of risk factors within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular reviews and updates of compliance policies to reflect best practices.
• Work with management to develop a compliance culture within the organization.
• Prepare and present compliance training sessions for new employees.
• Track and report on compliance metrics to senior management.
• Assist in risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks.
• Develop tools and resources to aid in compliance efforts.
• Support the implementation of technology solutions to manage compliance data.
• Participate in industry forums and conferences to stay abreast of compliance trends.
• Work collaboratively with departments to integrate compliance into their processes.
• Lead compliance improvement initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Compliance, Risk Management, or Business
• Postgraduate qualifications in compliance or risk management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance advisory roles
