Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Oyster Grader who will be responsible for assessing and grading oysters based on strict quality standards. You will ensure that our oysters meet the necessary criteria for distribution, contributing to our reputation for excellence in the seafood industry.

Responsibilities

• Examine oysters carefully for defects and classify them accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain inventory of grading supplies and equipment.
• Support training of new staff on grading techniques.
• Contribute to team meetings to improve quality control processes.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance grading skills.
• Participate in team-building activities to foster a positive workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in handling seafood products is advantageous.
