Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Agronomist to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainable agricultural practices that enhance crop yield and quality. You will work closely with farmers and agricultural stakeholders to provide expert advice on crop management, pest control, and soil health.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze climatic and soil conditions for optimal crop production.
  • Consult with agricultural stakeholders to improve crop yield and quality.
  • Utilize technological tools to assess and enhance crop health.
  • Participate in agricultural fairs and community outreach programs.
  • Develop budget and resource allocation strategies for agronomic projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of agronomic data and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, or related fields
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years in agronomy or agricultural consultancy
