Job Description

Join us as a Public Relations Officer, where your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with the media and stakeholders. You'll play a key role in shaping our communications, ensuring our messages resonate with the public.

Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute press releases and announcements.
  • Develop strategies to maximize positive media coverage.
  • Utilize social media to enhance public visibility and engagement.
  • Create and manage public relations budgets for events and campaigns.
  • Foster relationships with journalists and media personalities.
  • Conduct interviews with media representatives and prepare spokespersons for interviews.
  • Organize promotional events to engage the community and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of public relations initiatives.
  • Establish metrics to measure the success of communication efforts.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for specific campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Public Relations
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in public relations, preferably in a corporate environment
