Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Leading Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing drug information, and counseling patients about their medications and health conditions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to improving patient outcomes and enhancing medication safety.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and effective administration of medications.
  • Provide comprehensive medication reviews for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Work closely with physicians to adjust medication plans when necessary.
  • Educate patients on possible side effects and drug interactions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives in the pharmacy.
  • Maintain pharmaceutical waste management standards.
  • Manage pharmacy software systems and electronic health records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely medication procurement.
  • Support health policy advocacy initiatives in pharmacy practice.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
  • Certification in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment
