We are on the lookout for a dedicated Chemical Engineer to join our team in Richards Bay. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee chemical production processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct root cause analyses for production issues and devise strategies to mitigate risks.
• Integrate new technologies into existing processes.
• Train junior engineers and production staff on best practices.
• Support R&D efforts with practical insights from production.
• Participate in safety audits and process safety reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is a bonus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
