Job Description

As a Repair Table Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining essential equipment for our manufacturing processes. This role demands attention to detail and a commitment to high standards as you repair and inspect various wooden products.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot repair tables.
• Review production schedules to prioritize repairs.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding project updates.
• Optimize repair procedures for maximum efficiency.
• Highlight safety issues and recommend improvements.
• Conduct routine maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Attend training sessions on new machinery and techniques.
• Foster a team-oriented workspace by encouraging collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training specific to woodworking (advantageous)

Experience

• Experience operating repair tables or similar equipment is beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Computer literacy
• Understanding of repair equipment and tools

• Flexible and adaptable

Languages

• English: Fluent
