Job Description

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. Your role will involve supporting our HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. You'll be instrumental in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with local labour laws.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment efforts including job postings and candidate screening.
  • Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR processes.
  • Organize training and development programs.
  • Contribute to the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics for strategic planning.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records.
  • Collaborate with managers on performance management initiatives.
  • Support organizational change initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years in a similar role or HR function
