Job Description

As a Lacing Operator at ABC Footwear, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lacing machines, ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to high-quality standards. This role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during lacing operation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve machine-related problems.
• Ensure workspace cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain accurate production logs and report discrepancies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certificate in manufacturing or related field

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably operating machinery.

• Machine operation

• Manual dexterity
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in lacing or similar process: Previous experience in operating lacing machines or similar equipment.
