Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and services of our Johannesburg facilities. The successful candidate will ensure optimal functionality and safety while managing a variety of tasks from maintenance scheduling to vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that facilities comply with all local and national regulations.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative facility management solutions.
  • Participate in strategic planning to improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Assist in managing energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Prepare reports on facility conditions for management review.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferable
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in facility management
