Petroleum Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing extraction methods that optimize oil and gas recovery while ensuring environmental protection and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute operational plans for oil and gas recovery.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze potentials for future projects.
• Collaborate with geologists and other specialists for site analysis.
• Monitor and optimize drilling and extraction processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and manage project documentation.
• Continue to evaluate the performance of production technology.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geosciences
• Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of engineering experience, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry
