Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing extraction methods that optimize oil and gas recovery while ensuring environmental protection and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve oil and gas extraction techniques.
• Assist in the planning and execution of drilling programs.
• Evaluate and apply new systems and technology to enhance production.
• Communicate with both technical staff and management on project updates.
• Ensure smooth functionality of drilling operations and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate project success.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geosciences
• Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of engineering experience, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry
