Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Bullet Assembly Press Setter-Operator to join our production team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a vital role in setting up and operating machinery to produce top-quality bullet assemblies that adhere to our stringent production standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the production team to meet daily targets.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all machinery.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Support team members in problem-solving production challenges.
• Ensure that all production activities align with safety standards.
• Actively contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Assist in selecting appropriate tools and materials for production.
• Participate in the development of new assembly processes.
• Document all operational procedures for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Formal training in mechanical engineering or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in machine operation and maintenance, ideally in manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of production processes

Soft Skills

• Excellent time management

Certifications

• Certification in machine operation and maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated machinery: Hands-on experience with modern production automation tools.
• Leadership experience: Ability to guide and mentor junior operators.
