Slide Fastener Chain Assembler

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Slide Fastener Chain Assembler to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling chains used in zippers and slide fasteners, ensuring quality and efficiency during the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble chains for zippers according to specified guidelines.
• Ensure that all machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products before shipment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Document production results and report any discrepancies.
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to proper handling and storage of materials.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about quality and efficiency.
• Monitor and adjust machinery as needed to optimize production.
• Assist with inventory control by reporting low stock levels.

Requirements

Education

• Training and certification in assembly machine operation preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in quality assurance is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Ability to work with small components
• Experience with different materials

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with alternative assembly methods: Understanding of methods such as ultrasonic welding.
• Previous exposure to production software: Knowledge of managing production data and scheduling.
