Job Description

We are seeking a Food Scientist and Technologist who will conduct in-depth chemical analyses on food samples to ensure safety and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of food composition and nutritional analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth chemical analyses on food products to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Review and develop testing protocols for various food types and formulations.
• Prepare detailed analytical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer research for product development.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist in the training of junior staff in laboratory techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field
• Higher qualifications (Master's or PhD) considered a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in food safety and quality control
