Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Pharmacist to complement our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and advising on medication management. You will play a crucial role in our commitment to providing excellent healthcare services and supporting our patients' health.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of prescriptions and identify potential issues with medication therapy.
  • Educate patients about their medications, including side effects and proper usage.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in patient care decisions.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized pharmacy environment.
  • Manage drug recalls and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in the management of pharmacy operations and workflow.
  • Contribute to research activities and clinical trials when applicable.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Additional qualifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
