Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Pharmacist to be part of our healthcare team in Cape Town. Your duties will include dispensing medications, providing consultations, and educating patients about their healthcare needs. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process medication orders for accuracy and safety.
  • Schedule follow-up consultations for patients as necessary.
  • Implement quality assurance processes for medication dispensing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions.
  • Promote wellness initiatives within the community.
  • Advocate for patient safety and quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Assist in developing pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage suppliers.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
  • Any additional certifications in pharmacy practice are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
