Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Specialist who is passionate about improving health standards in Durban. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and community groups to design and implement health education campaigns and analyze health data to inform public health decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design programs targeting at-risk populations.
  • Collect and analyze data related to public health issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on health initiatives.
  • Conduct training and workshops for community health workers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of public health trends.
  • Create partnerships with local organizations to enhance outreach.
  • Lead community events promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in public health or related field
