Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to become part of our healthcare team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various illnesses, prescribing medications, and providing preventive care. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to provide empathetic patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and screenings.
• Assess patients’ health by reviewing medical history and conducting physical examinations.
• Encourage preventative health screenings and vaccinations.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Provide ongoing care for chronic conditions.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of medical advancements.
• Participate in community health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialization in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a General Practitioner
