Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Strong leadership skills and experience in construction management are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project contracts and negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and local authorities.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project standards are met.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and site workers.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate project performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in construction management with a focus on commercial projects.
