Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical processes, with an emphasis on developing efficient and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance chemical manufacturing.
• Support the scaling-up of processes from laboratory to production.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety audits.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project updates.
• Perform troubleshooting on chemical processes to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assess and recommend equipment upgrades for improved efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product compliance.
• Document and maintain engineering records as per regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in chemical engineering
