Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to manage challenging and exciting projects in the beautiful city of Cape Town. Your expertise will guide teams through detailed planning, scheduling, and execution, whilst adhering to our high standards of safety and quality. A proactive approach to problem-solving will be crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall direction of construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and guide team members for optimal performance.
  • Monitor construction processes to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Prepare procurement documents and manage suppliers.
  • Evaluate completed work and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Organise and conduct regular project progress meetings.
  • Establish and enforce project standards and policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management
