Job Description

As an Urban Project Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our urban planning initiatives in Durban. You will work closely with local stakeholders, manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with regulations while striving to create vibrant and sustainable communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead urban development planning efforts in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with community goals and sustainability practices.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Conduct public consultations to enhance community involvement.
  • Assist in crisis management related to urban development challenges.
  • Research best practices in urban planning and apply to local projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Environmental Planning
  • Higher Certificate in Project Management is preferable
Experience
  • 3+ years in urban design or planning roles
