Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our Cape Town hotel. You will focus on improving guest experience, managing hotel staff, and ensuring operational excellence. Your leadership will be critical in achieving our business goals while maintaining a warm and inviting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel operations to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Develop strategic plans to improve occupancy rates and revenue.
  • Assist in marketing efforts and promotional campaigns.
  • Supervise the maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through attention to detail and prompt service.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing training.
  • Evaluate guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain inventory of hotel supplies and control expenses.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality sector
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in hotel management software
  • Knowledge of revenue management
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
Certifications
  • Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
