We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to enhance our HR team in Durban. The successful candidate will manage employee relations, handle conflict resolution, and conduct workplace investigations whilst promoting a positive company culture.
Responsibilities
Act as a mediator in conflict resolution between employees and management.
Create employee handbooks and ensure all staff are educated on HR policies.
Compile reports on employee relations metrics and suggest improvements.
Assist in the development of employee performance evaluation processes.
Work with legal teams when necessary to address compliance issues.
Promote staff welfare initiatives and employee satisfaction strategies.
Advantageous
Knowledge of South African Employment Equity Act: Understanding of the policies to promote equality in the workplace.
Experience in Developing Employee Retention Programs: Demonstrated ability to create programs that retain top talent.
