We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our Port Elizabeth team. This role involves providing legal advice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the business in its operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Research legal issues and provide insights to the management team.
• Negotiate terms and conditions in various agreements.
• Assist with audits and compliance assessments.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
• Advocate for the organization in legal forums when required.
• Collaborate with other departments to advance legal objectives.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree with Honors

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law

Certifications

• Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
