Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Advisor to join our team in Cape Town. The successful applicant will provide expert legal guidance and support across various sectors, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while helping to mitigate risks and protect our clientele's interests.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound legal advice to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Draft, review, and finalize all legal agreements and contracts.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Participate in negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
• Assist in the risk assessment process to identify potential legal issues.
• Stay informed of industry trends and changes in legislation.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on compliance and legal practices.
• Engage with external agencies and regulators as necessary.
• Support the company’s operations by ensuring legal compliance in all business activities.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Admitted attorney preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
