Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Event Planner to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning, from conception to execution. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure their events are seamless and memorable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts for events that align with client goals.
  • Create and present proposals to clients for events.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Assist in marketing efforts for the event planning business.
  • Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring costs remain within allocated amounts.
  • Compile reports on event performance, including financial and attendee metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in event planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Event Management or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale events

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Problem-solving

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of local event regulations: Understanding of local laws and regulations governing events in Port Elizabeth.
  • Bilingual abilities: Fluency in Afrikaans and English would be advantageous.
