We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will assist clients in improving their daily living and work skills through therapeutic interventions. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy to clients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute personalized therapeutic programs.
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and modify as necessary.
• Engage in direct client care and therapy sessions.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and interns.
• Encourage family involvement in therapy for better outcomes.
• Conduct research and contribute to program development.
• Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives.
• Enhance clients' overall wellbeing through holistic approaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in providing occupational therapy services

Certifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT)
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
