We are on the lookout for an experienced Head of IT Infrastructure to join our Johannesburg team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our technology infrastructure supports our overall business strategy effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IT systems architecture, cloud services, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
• Address and resolve IT infrastructure challenges with innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations.
• Facilitate the integration of new technologies into existing infrastructures.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and infrastructure services.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on infrastructure performance.
• Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Develop training programs for team members to enhance skills and technology knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience

• 10+ years managing IT teams and infrastructure projects

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
