Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications systems and equipment. A strong understanding of networking principles and hands-on experience with telecommunications technologies are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install telecommunications cabling and components according to specifications.
• Perform field audits to assess system performance and reliability.
• Work with vendors to source telecommunications equipment and services.
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Create and update documentation on network systems and configurations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Technical Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years in a telecommunications technician role
