Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager in Cape Town to oversee daily warehousing operations. This role involves managing inventory, optimizing processes, and ensuring that our warehouse meets productivity and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management principles.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage warehouse operations to achieve efficiency.
• Cultivate a positive team environment through clear communication.
• Implement inventory control systems to minimize loss.
• Review and improve operational processes regularly.
• Assist in logistics planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with local and national laws regarding warehousing.
• Coordinate and facilitate audits and inspections.
• Handle team scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets for warehouse operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehousing and logistics management

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Data Analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent
