Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems, ensuring projects meet all specifications and regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion.
• Apply engineering principles to solve complex mechanical problems.
• Monitor project progress and report to stakeholders.
• Integrate sustainability into engineering solutions.
• Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies.
• Create 3D models and simulations of mechanical systems.
• Prepare presentations to communicate project status to management.
• Conduct training sessions on new engineering tools and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
