We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Technician to join our team based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues, ensuring optimal performance of equipment, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installation of various telecommunications devices.
• Troubleshoot faults and provide effective solutions promptly.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve system performance.
• Prepare and submit reports on service incidents.
• Participate in training sessions to upgrade technical skills.
• Ensure that all equipment meets operational standards.
• Assist with the design of telecommunications setups.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
