As a Legal Advisor at our firm in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in navigating legal challenges. You will provide strategic legal insights to support company initiatives and ensure compliance with legislation. Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Advise on intellectual property matters and protect company assets.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and service providers.
• Provide training and support to staff on legal matters.
• Evaluate and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
• Conduct compliance audits and assessments.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Postgraduate qualification in law is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a legal advisory role

• Legal Research

Certifications

• Admitted Attorney in South Africa
• Compliance Certification is advantageous

• English: Fluent
