Compliance Officer

Job Description

As a Compliance Officer in our Johannesburg office, you will ensure that our operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include developing compliance programs and conducting training sessions for staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement effective compliance policies and procedures.
• Analyze regulatory changes and assess impact on company operations.
• Lead internal compliance audits and recommend improvements.
• Train employees on compliance standards and best practices.
• Communicate compliance updates and initiatives to staff.
• Monitor compliance activities and report any issues to management.
• Work closely with legal counsel to mitigate compliance risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field
• Certification in Compliance Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in compliance management or a related field
