We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Durban pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products, ensure compliance with health regulations, and perform administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for dispensing as per pharmacy standards.
• Assist in managing the pharmacy's financial transactions.
• Conduct regular checks on medication expiry dates.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations at all times.
• Participate in training programs for pharmacy staff.
• Support the pharmacy manager in operational tasks.
• Engage with patients and answer any medication-related queries.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy
