Job Description

As an HR Generalist, you'll be at the forefront of our HR initiatives in Johannesburg. This position demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively manage employee queries and facilitate HR projects. A critical element of the role will be to assist in developing training programs and performance management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Onboard new employees and facilitate orientation programs.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Support performance management processes and employee appraisal systems.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Administer benefits and compensation programs.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and processes to staff.
  • Handle employee grievances and conduct exit interviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR roles
