HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing HR operations and ensuring compliance with labor laws. You'll be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations, alongside developing HR strategies that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment efforts and work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
• Provide training and resources to support employee development initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
• Develop and maintain employee handbooks and policy manuals.
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR issues.
• Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in all hiring and HR activities.
• Coordinate employee wellness programs and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar HR role
