We are on the lookout for a skilled Accountant to join our burgeoning firm in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial principles and practices, coupled with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Conduct regular financial audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Support payroll processing and reporting.
• Assist in the management of cash flow.
• Identify financial discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Provide insights for cost control and financial performance improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

Certifications
